It’s a critical issue for our city and demands our attention. \nWhat: August CM Dems Meeting and Ballot Measure Endorsement Vote\nWhen: Wednesday\, August 24 at 6:00 PM (come socialize at 5:30 PM!)\nWhere: TeWinkle Park\, Costa Mesa – picnic shelter 1\, largest one by the playground \nGuest Issue Experts: UCI Professor Nick Marantz\, Chapman Law Professor Ken Stahl\nCouncil’s efforts on housing: Arlis Reynolds\nPro perspective: David Martinez and Kathy Esfahani or Christine Nolf (Costa Mesa Affordable Housing Coalition)\nCon perspective: Cynthia McDonald\, second slot open\nBusiness Program: 3 issue experts (4min each\, 10min of open Q&A for panel)\, 2 measure proponents (3min each)\, 2 measure opponents (3min each)\, and endorsement vote by all members present \nCandidate updates and announcements from: Supervisor Katrina Foley\, NMUSD Trustee Ashley Anderson\, Shayanne Wright for Mesa Water Board District 5\, Russell Baldwin for Mesa Water Board District 4 \nAll club members in good standing may participate and vote on the club business item on our meeting agenda.
